Can Bumps On Your Cervix Be Anything Else But Hpv?

by Rachel on January 28, 2010

I went to the ER and the doctor told me that I might have HPV because I have very small bumps around my cervix. Is there anyway that it could be something eles that can be cured?

Ok, genital warts is HPV. Anyways, yes it could be fibromas (small tiny benign tumors). Just get it checked. OK, HPV CANNOT be cured. It is a virus so once you have it you have it. Even though you may not always have problems going on they can pop up at any time. Genital warts (HPV) can be removed via surgical or burning/freezing, but they usually come back (NOT cureable). Just like herpes, which brings me to another good point it could have been herpes blisters they saw but that should be painful. Anyways, HPV the cervical cancer strains can be treated by removing abnormal cells, but those can come back at any time.

HPV can be cured but it’s hard! Also it could just be cysts that should be drained. You need to talk to your GYN and see what they think, that’s the only way that find out for sure what it is and who to treat it.

I get cysts on my cervix. I’ve gotten them for years. They come and go. They never need attention, draining, medication or whatever. They are just … well… cysts.
And they are not an STD.
However, you should go get YOUR bumps checked out to make sure that they aren’t something more dangerous, or infectious.
