Can human papilloma virus be transmitted from kissing?

by Rachel on April 21, 2010

My friend told me a growth behind the uvula (neck) and the doctor, it could have been caused by HPV. I wonder if I was in danger, you have to kiss.

This Virus is an STD type and is contracted from contact with someone who has had it in the vaginal/private area.
So that in reality does tend to answer your question.
IF,. U haven’t contracted it..or haven’t been diagnosed with it..
Then, you have a question to ask of your boyfriend.

I would refrain from kissing or any sexual contact.
However, its a personal thing. Its YOUR decision.
Does he have any warts on his penis. ??
It is treatable.
In Australia a vaccine is available FREE (from the Govt.)
for woman and in particular school age girls
In some instances..the virus clears up..however it should NOT be left untreated and in younger girls can pose a real problem.
I suggest that U, asap, get immunised
