Can you join the army with genital warts?

by Rachel on December 5, 2011

I’m leaving for MEPS next week and my girlfriend gave me genital warts. Does the army test for that and if so is it still possible for me to join.

The Army is in dire need of competent leadership. This week alone, there have been instances of on-base civilian deaths of minors in Army barracks (Seattle), two fatal cases of meningitis among 2 soldiers who lived on the same floor in the same barracks (Missouri), January Army suicides prompted a branch wide stand down to reflect the seriousness of the problem (CBS News), and Army troops make up the majority of the ground forces in war zones ( Don’t join the Army. They are not ready to accept any more young people until they straighten out what the heck is going on with the people they’ve already got. Meanwhile, they (Army) are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on programs like NASCAR and video games like America’s Army to recruit kids and try to change the subject about what life in the U.S. Army is like. That money needs to be used more wisely to fix what’s wrong, and costing young American lives.

yes! you can join the army because army have nothing to do with your warts! :) it is nothing deadly on it don`t makes you weak if you have genital warts!

of course you should treat them before army or when you will be in te army, because when you will be there – you wouldn`t have any options to treat them!

personally I suggest in that case Wartrol! it is a good product that gets rid of genital warts and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont show and make people question your health.

You can read more about the product here

Andrew you are an idiot. I spent 8 years on active duty and it is nothing like what you described. I knew of two suicides in the military post I was at which has over 150,000 soldiers. You cannot exaggerate incidents to make it look like G.I’s are going nuts on post. Why don’t you compare a city and its violence to a large post. I will guarantee you that the city has more crimes committed and overall lack of discipline. Civilians need to shut their pie holes and enjoy the blanket of freedom that they can wrap around their pudgy and obviously ungrateful fingers.

When you have your (naked) physical you may draw some stares from the doc and other recruits, but there’s no disqualification. The twio MAJOR questions are have you smoked pot or done illegal drugs before and are you gay, though the don’t ask, don’t tell policy may bump that last one…..
