Does gardasil work for people already infected with hpv?

read this website and go to table 14:

http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?id=19074#i4i_section_id_7a7e4db4-31de-41e7-b152-106084083608

go to: Table 14

it says that regardless of prior exposure and then % reduction
it sounds like it treats the infection.
do you agree?

NO, if you are already infected, then you don’t even need the vaccine.
HPV is a virus, and there is no cure for viruses, not even the flu or common cold. Some are treatable, but no cure.
The vaccine helps prevent certain forms of the human papilloma virus, and there are MANY forms of the virus, from causing abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix, which can further develop into cancer. The vaccine, like all other vaccines, helps prevent disease, but it’s not 100%. And, if you already have HPV, remember that you can give it to another, even if your blood level of the virus is undetectable, you’re still contagious.
