How can a couple who is faithful to one another and never had any other partner, get genital warts?

Is it really a STD? Can buying a brand new sex toy be contaminated with HPV? If the couple is married for years and faithful, are there other ways to get genital warts?

Yes it is really an STD, however common warts can appear in the genital area though cases of this are rare. A truly new toy would not be contaminated it would have to be a used toy. The only other way to get genital warts would be through accidental fluid transfer so if either one of you has had an injection in your genital area or if you sat on a public toilet with any lacerations on your genitals. HPV can lie dormant for years but one of you would have known before hand if they already had it.y

HPV is a STD.

A new sex toy will NOT be contaminated with HPV. And of course, you’d wash it before use!!!

HPV is a very interesting disease because men and women can have the disease for YEARS and show absolutely no signs or symptoms. HPV is not transmitted by toilet seats or casual contact- it is transmitted though sexual contact. Perhaps one of them entered the marriage with HPV.

Genital Warts is a virus (HPV).

It is spread from one person to another by sexual activity. It is called a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

The warts from HPV vary – they may not be very visible. they may be the result of sexual contact with a partner from months even years back.
(or a cheating partner)

Genital warts must be treated by a doctor.

Read the link attached and see a doctor
BOTH of you
