How do you have intercourse safely if you have an STD?

by Rachel on April 28, 2011

I don’t have one, but I’m just wondering. If someone has an STD, how would they ever have intercourse safely or have children? That must be really depressing if there is no way. Thank you for your help.

Depressing? NOT!

Most STDs are totally curable with antibiotics. Others are manageable with medications and safe sex practices–even HIV.

You’d better look around, hon, because the majority of the people you see on the streets every day with husbands and kids in tow, even your own neighbors, either have an STD now that they are managing very well–OR had one in the past that was cured.
