HPV is a common sexual transmitted disease, mainly among woman but spreaded through man who has sex with woman having it.

The virus spread through skin to skin contact with infected area. It is not airborne.

Hi there. The human papilloma virus can stay dormant in the body indefinitely. It is not transmitted through the air. It is usually transmitted through sexual contact but a fetus can contracted it from her mother. Even skin contact transmission is possible. Finger warts are from the HPV but from a different strain of HPV than genital warts. There are about 100 strains of HPV and some appear to cause no harm, some do clear on their own and some strains are linked to cervical cancer. Have a great weekend.
