When I was diagnosed, It looked like I had an STD, you could physically tell.
I didn’t have any treatments, but my Gyno still made me get the Guardasil shots.
If you have the physical signs, they will test it to see if it’s harmful, also if you’re a girl,
they will give you a Pap-smear to make sure there’s nothing cancerous, if there isn’t
than you should talk to you’re doctor about treatments, I was never given any, since there wasn’t much to do.

There are no symptoms in men and women that you can feel. With women it changes the cells in your cervix. For men it does nothing it’s a dormat disease. There isn’t even a test for men to even find out if they have it. If a women has a mild case your body should be able to fight it off. If it can’t then your stuck with it. If the hpv is not monitered in women it will likely turn in to cervical cancer by the time you reach middle age. I was diagnosed with hpv about a month ago. So I have been reading as much as possible about it. I have to get pap smears every six months now instead of once a year. If I have three paps in a row that are normal I go back to once a year.
