human papilloma virus (HPV) cure?

by Rachel on January 22, 2011

i discovered i have a few warts really far back on my tongue last night (and i was really freaked out =P) and i googled some stuff and i learned more about it….. and i found out that garlic is a good natural remedy. since it’s on my tongue i can’t make a paste or tape it on top lol so should i eat it? i’m pretty good with spicy food and i could even swallow little chunks whole i don’t care = i just want to get rid of the virus……

how much should i eat?

if this isn’t a good idea (lol) what should i do? i’m going to the doctor’s soon but does anyone have some home remedies for me?

thanks =]
yeah = but how could i get rid of the warts or become immune to the virus? i read that salicylic acid would help your body become immune but i don’t have any of that lol =P

Uhh first off once you have HPV you can never get rid of it. so garlic or whatever wouldn’t work anyway.

if the warts are caused by HPV then there are ways to get rid of them but the virus still stays…

but it might not even be that, i would get checked.

The warts will come and go (forever) or maybe have to be removed from time to time, but like all viruses it will stay in your body forever. You cannot cure viruses even the common cold virus is dormant in your body right now if you’ve ever gotten it which most likely you have. There are remedies and treatments for the physical warts but thats it, they will be recurring for the rest of your life.

it is not true that the warts will be reacuring for the rest of your life, warts will be delt with by your immune system even without medication and in time, 1-2 years your body will deal with the HPV infection on it’s own. If you have a strong immune system it can either keep the virus under control or eliminate it all together. The tests for HPV are only for women so if you are a male there is no way to test for HPV but there are women who have been infected with HPV and later no traces of HPV was found so as you can see for your self a good immune system can kill the HPV virus.

there is no cure for hpv, but you can have the warts removed, rember to use protection as they are highly infectious.

I’ve seen a few studies that show this that help your body fight off HPV: beta glucan, folic acid, indole-3-carbinol. I believe there is a trial about green tea right now. The main point is that these things boost your immune system to help your body fight HPV.

I’m totally on the same page as you. Give the garlic a shot! But warts on your tongue sound kind weird . . . you might want to see a doctor as well.

And HPV isn’t “forever” like some people say. You might have recurrence, but most people don’t. And if they do come back, you might have a couple of recurrences, but it would be extremely unusual for this to keep happening throughout your life.
