If I had a hysterectomy because of HPV cancer on my cervix?

and the warts are back does that mean the cancer is back too? My cervix and uterus were removed.

Probably not, since you had the parts where the cancer was (the cervix & uterus) removed…I don’t see how the cancer could be back. The only way it could be back would be if the doctors didn’t get it all or if it had already spread someplace else in your body before that, but the doctors probably would have told you that. I think if you have the warts, it just means you have the HPV warts. Once you have the HPV infection, you always have it, and the warts can come back at any time. HPV is a virus and it stays in your cells; sometimes it is dormant (like it is “sleeping”), other times it wakes back up and causes the warts. However, just to make sure, for your own peace of mind, and since I am not a doctor, I would give your doctor a call & check with him/her yourself.
