Of course you can, but it is a high risk pregnancy and you need to see a doctor ASAP if you are pregnant. HPV can be passed to the baby, they will need to discuss birth options so that the baby does not become infected.

Y E S ! men are carriers and women contract the virus it is an std and will never go away. If and when you have kids it will be passed to them. Understand safe sex is not just for you but your offspring also.

Yeah, I have it and had to get a LEEP in ’07, I’m 4 months pregnant with a healthy baby girl and I don’t even need to have a circlage cause the doctor said my cervix is still long. So don’t worry. HPV doesn’t make it hard to get pregnant cause it has nothing to do with that. The only thing is that if you have to get pieces of the cervix taken off from abnormal cells it can make the cervix too short or weak making it hard to carry a baby. But like I said there’s what they call a cervical circlage where they stitch the cervix closed to hold the baby till it’s time to have it. And don’t listen to those people saying that HPV can be passed to the baby, that is only if you have the wart causing strain and even then the chance of passing it to the baby are very low. You cannot pass HPV to the baby if you have cervical dysplasia. Good luck!

i have it and i am pregnant. the doctor says there is only a slight chance my baby will get it and if he does he will only be a carrier since he is a boy but most of the time it goes completely undetected in males.
