In a relationship one of the partners have HPV and the other one doesn’t?

If two people are in a relationship with each other and one has Genital Herpes and the other one doesnt, but they had unprotected sex. The person that is unaffected is already aware of the risk, and may already have the virus, so is it safe for them to continue unprotected sex if they both are infected?

I guess so. Would be smart for both to go get the appropriate treatment though before it gets really bad, which it probably will. I personally don’t understand why anyone would willingly have sex with someone they knew had genital warts though….just my opinion though.

Seriously? Why would you want herpes for the rest of your life? Also herpes and HPV are not the same thing just FYI

First of all, HPV doesn’t consist of the genital herpes virus, it consists of the genital warts virus. And they’re is a chance that the non infected person is still uninfected. And if the person new before that the other person had HPV why would she/he have unprotected sex? And if they didn’t care about catching it means they won’t care about passing it. HPV being incurable will stay in this persons life forever, and anytime they have sex they are possibly infecting someone else, who I guarantee probably doesn’t want to have a life long disease. If I was you I’d strap it up. Not just because your the possible carrier of an STD but because you are also running the risk of being a parent. And if your not responsible enough to wear a condom and prevent from an STD what makes you think you’ll be responsible enough to raise a child?
