I have a question. I had cryotherapy done 6 weeks ago. I went for a follow up with another GYN who is reputable. The GYN doctor stated that she would do another PAP and HPV test. I have waited 2 weeks and I got the results. The GYN said that the HPV test was negative. However, she said that a false positive does happen or it could be the Cryotherapy. Does a false negative really happen that much?

A false negative can occur with any test.
Once HPV is in a low viral load your HPV will not be positive indicating that your body is keeping the virus in check.
Another thing to remember is that the HPV test does not screen for low risk HPV types….
At this time I would go with the cryotherapy did its job…
