If so, what STD’s can you contract and why? Thanks! Trying to win a debate with an ignorant friend.

You can get any and ALL STD’s from oral sex while using a condom.

Condoms are not 100% effective. There is always a risk factor when you have sex and the ONLY 100% effective way to not get an STD is to simply not have sex of any kind.

Slap your ignorant friend.

Yes, please slap the dummy.

You can get an STD no matter what. They are never 100% safe. If you can get an STD while having sex with a condom, it’s no different for oral sex. At least with sex, you’ll get to enjoy it too! ;)

of course you can. the condom is not 100% protective. you can get any STD as long as the person you had sex(regardless of what kind of sex it was) has that STD (s).

well… if your mouth touched there skin.. or your saliva did and the saliva went back into your mouth yes… and you can get just about every std… if there fluids touched your mouth and they had an std… yes…. but if the condom was all the way on… which is not likely… and you didnt touch there skin… than you most likely are not gonna catch an std…

If you touch areas that are not covered by the condom then possibly. Condoms can cut your risk down but there are some stds that you can get even if you use condoms herpes and genital warts are a couple of them.

Unfortunately condoms aren’t all that they claim to be. You can still get STD’s wearing them especially warts and herpes but pretty much all the others too. Try to watch for sores and bumps around the mouth and genital areas.

I know a guy who caught a bacterial STD while wearing a condom. He was mad but I said, “Well at least we both know that condoms don’t always work!” I was very surprised but I’m glad I learned from some one else’s misfortune.

BTW, we were on double dates and his lady companion was plenty freaky and mine wasn’t. He showed me the condom wrapper that nite and five days later he showed me the antibiotics.

Yes, condoms are only 90% (conservatively) effective plus manufacturers quality defects.

STD’s you could have are Aids/Hiv, Chlamydia, Crabs, Genital Warts, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, Herpes, HPV, LGV, Scabies, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis and UTD. The reason? Any sexual contact just increases your chances of being infected, so be careful who your with, you must know the person!

Because condoms are not 100% safe, but almost…

and you can still contract herpes or HPV just from rubbing…
