Is it safe to have sex after your HPV has cleared up?

by Rachel on January 18, 2011

I read (and talked to my dr) that your immune system has the ability to clear up HPV on it’s own over time. So does that mean if I have HPV and I later get a pap smear and it doesn’t show signs of HPV anymore, does that mean I can’t pass it on to anyone after that? Or does it just mean that the virus is dormant in my body and I just won’t get genital warts anymore?

Means its most likely dormant in your body and wont get the warts but there’s still a slight possibility you cud if it so to speack woke up again. But sex is safe to have but you have to always remember to wear a condom unless your with some one and your planning on children. I’ve heard alot of different things about hpv from doctors and people that have it and from my own experience it seems to go away but its really not its a dormant/undormant virus but your body does have the power to fight it off it could be dormant and you never even know it ..Alot of girls do and so with men. With what ever question you really have always look more towards your doctor then any one else. Hope this helps

as sad as it sounds it will never be 100% safe ever again. as even if you dont have the warts it can be dormant in your body and even if you are wearing a condom it could break.
so no its not 100% safe but at the same time i think it would be very hard to spend the rest of your time on this earth without getting laid.
im still trying to figure out what to do about this myself and its hard as its not something that you tend to want to talk about with people and ask advice.
so as i see it its all about crap sex with condoms in dark rooms. sad stuff
