When you say “cancerous hpv” i am assuming that means you have a high-risk type of HPV (16, 18, 45, 56)? WITHOUT annual pap smears (which screen for cervical dysplasia or neoplasm), you have a 97% risk of developing invasive cervical cancer. WITH PAP smears: they will find it and treat it!!!!
This is a curable disease, and cancer takes 9 to 15 years to develop after the initial infection. If they were to find high-grade lesion, they would call you back, and you would go back in for a colposcopy/ LOOP procedure to cure it.
The only people who die from cervical cancer is those who do not know they have it, and those who know and do not follow up with their doctors. So you have nothing to worry about!!! I hope this helps :)

Not sure what the percentage is. But if you go get your regular test it’s is not something you should have to worry about. Neglagence causes the problem.
