polips on a penis would that be hpv for a man?

by Rachel on August 25, 2011

This is a school question that I was never able to find out. Are penile polips caused by hpv or are they something else of another cause?
HPV=Human papaloma virus yes.

I am still trying to figure it out. It might be cancer for a male or a birth defect. I cannot find info to really determine. I do not understand the male reproductive system that well. My anatomy and physiology class did not cover much. All I really get info on is prostate and spermatogenesis.
Sorry peanut gallery answer number 3 I am not a man and this is not my body, so I cannot find out the answer for an academic question by getting tested.

I know what polips are, but what’s hpv? Sorry, I haven’t had health class for a while. Does that have to do with papilloma virus. Is it human papilloma virus? Just guessing.

HPV would cause warts, not polyps.
