I recently discovered that my friend was recently diagnosed with cancer HPV cervical ex. I know that men are carriers and show no symptoms, how likely is infected for me?
I have a parent who has been diagnosed with the disease. She is already showing signs of tumors, and she is pregnant and cancer-positive (cervical cancer). Please respond quickly.

I don’t plan on having kids and I’m 24, but I don’t like wondering if I will get cervical cancer. Does it hurt to get the cervix removed and am I old enough?
I don’t have any STD myself and I never met anyone who has HPV… When I thought about it, it must be hard for them, feeling insecure and all that. However, there IS a chance of having a successful sex/love life.
While it’s normal to be afraid of getting a STD through sex if they do have a STD, chances of not getting it are improved if protected with a condom or any kind of protection. Realistically, you don’t have to be afraid to have sex with those people if they really want a relationship with you and vice versa. Do what you can do to protect you both.
The question is… do you really want to let go one amazing person you’d want to spent your rest of life with but couldn’t because they or you have HPV or any kind of STD?
Personally, I won’t mind having sex with them as long as we’re protected and that we do love each other.
Doctor said in 6 months do another pap and then we’ll see if biopsy is needed. Is this common? I asked the doc if it would get worst in 6 months she said no. Anyone have info?
I was diagnosed about 2 months ago with HPV, and I am unable to tell my husband. I don’t know how to tell him, that I have exposed him before I found out, or he could have been the one that gave it to me. I don’t know where I got it, but I have it. My doctor didn’t tell me which strain I had just that I needed to come back in 4 months to repeat the pap test. I don’t know if I have warts, or pre-cancer. I am going crazy. I don’t know what to do, he is getting upset because I won’t have sex with him. I need help, he is going to think that I am having an affair, when I am only trying to protect him from my nasty disease.
i was just wondering if having unprotected sex with my partner if we both have HPV makes conditons worse? Will i develop cervical cancer or more severe reactions? Or should i always use a condom from now on? what if i want kids?
