Also, i thought this was a virus that stays in you forever but i have read on the internet that the body can clear it up itself within around 8 months. Im very confused and want to know before my second pap smear.
Particularly, I want to know about types 16/18/31/45 (high risk HPV that can lead to cervical caner).
The doctor also told me the baby can get some type of disease in his vocal cords, does anyone know waht that is called?
So im 13 and got my physical for sports and they said i could my HPV shot last year and my mom didn’t think it was really necessary and so then every time that commercial played about being “one less” my dad says, your going to get that shot as soon as possible, so does he think im sexually active or im going to be? BTW- im not.
If he finds he has HPV will they give him a shot to take care of it? I know it’s a women’s disease, but what do they do to help the men?
i was reading a article and it said that some hpv cause warts and some cause cancer.
What do you think about the recent statistic put out today that 50% of women are infected with HPV?
Is it reversible in that way? I know that if you have HPV you can get cervical cancer, BUT if I have cervical cancer does that mean I have HPV?
