I was told I have HPV and that it’s a sexually transmitted disease. But I have heard also that you can get HPV from anywhere (such as a toilet seat) I am 24, lost my V. when I was 20 and have had only 3 partners. Should I tell my past partners? My mom died of ovarian cancer and 63% of my relatives have *had* cancer or died from it. I am scared to death. I need more info on this subject. Please help.
I’v checked w/ the health dep. and they act like they don’t know. They just want me to have an exam every 3 months and that’s it. help!

I was recently diagnosed with HPV (genital warts) and now I feel like I’ll never be able to date anyone, I mean, before I was diagnosed I wouldn’t have dated a girl with warts. Mine have been treated and are gone, but I still have the HPV virus, since there is no cure for it. Does anyone know of a site for people to meet other people who have the same issue?
