I have an abnormal pap, with the straind of HPV for awhile it went away but not sure if it came back and im suppose to start adult film work.. do they test for this? I don’t think I have it anymore but just don’t want to be imbarressed when I get they and they tell me I can’t work.

When did you find out? Also, how do you know? Did you have warts or an abnormal pap? Did you have that new test done? Are you a guy who’s had sex with a girl who had it? What?
Also, what were you told by your doctor?
I’m just curious because I’ve had it for a while now and I had to do all my own research because my doctor totally left me in the dark about this. I’m just curious to see if anything has improved in the last 10 years concerning how the medical profession handles this.
I’m planning on getting tested asap but I’m freaking out right now. is there a chance I wouldn’t get it? Or is it pretty much guaranteed I have it? This happened like 3 1/2 years ago and I haven’t shown signs of anything since. Help!

I got cervical cancer and had chemo radiation a hysterectomy thought I did all I needed to do . Went for a pap smear a year later to find out the Hpv Virus was detected and a High Risk. Now have to go for another biopsy has anyone else had this happen to them and what was the outcome.
