I think that the vaccination should be given to older teenagers at the age of about 15-17 first, and then work down to the younger girls. It’s been given to 12-13 year old girls now and the older girls have to wait up to three years. I think this is wrong because older girls are more at risk! It’s less likely that 12-13 year old’s will be having sex. Does anyone agree?
It is not mandatory in the UK, it is a matter of choice but schools offer it.

Okay so I have a wart on my finger, and I just looked up what to do to get rid of it and it said it’s from the HPV family.

Well I’m still a virgin and I’m wondering if I can still get the HPV vaccine (you know, the “one less” commercials?) even though I have a form of HPV already.

i recently went on birth control, and now my boyfriend wants to have sex without a condom. My only concern is HPV (I know he is clean STI wise). He and I have both had the Gardasil vaccine, and he claims that because he has the vaccine he can not spread any strand of HPV to me. Is this true? If not, how do I convince him that we still need to use a condom.

I am 25 and studies have shown that there are no effects for women 26+. We have been trying to get pregnant for about a month. The 3rd shot is due to be taken in August, but I hope to be pregnant by then. Anyone else run into this issue?

Can a male get the vaccine to prevent the spreading of it if he has sex with a partner who has HPV and then later on has sex with another female partner who does not have it. Will it prevent him giving it to the female who does not have it?
I do not have it. But this girl I am seeing does, and its in a stage where it does not show up any longer on the pap but I was curious if I got vaccinated and was with someone later on in life, I would feel horrible if I gave it to her when I could have avoided it by a smiple shot.
