I want to get it done, but my mum is worried about the amount of research that has actually been done with this vaccine. On this website: http://www.immunisation.nhs.uk/hpv , it has hardly anything about the actual research that has been done with it. She’s worried that it’ll turn out like the morning sickness vaccine that turned out really bad.
Anyone know any FACTS about the research/ has anyone had the jab?

From the first site. I can’t find any official figures to answer your question properly.
Side effects of the vaccine
The side effects are usually mild and include
* Headache * Aching muscles * Redness and soreness around the site of the injection * Fever
* Feeling and being sick * Stomach pain
* Diarrhoea * Itching, rash * Dizziness
The site below gives information published in 2008 about the downside.
My neice has had the vaccine with no ill effects.
you should get it done. the FDA would not put it on the market if the benefits didn’t outweigh the negative side effects. besides, it is the first vaccine that protects you from cancer! a lot of people get HPV which can lead to cancer. it sometimes has no signs or symptoms. you should get the vaccine.
There has been done a lot of real good research. You can find it through pubmed, see source. I would absolutely recommend the vaccin. It lowers the risk of very commen cancer what is really good. Further you can’t compare side effects of all vaccins.
my school was giving it out but i didnt do it for the same reason, my mom was worried. i heard good and bad things about it and was kinda scared so i didnt get it. i guess if you just refrain from sex until your married or ready youll be okay.
hope this helped.
There is a girl from my town that almost died from it… like any medication its going to have side effects and if you read about it in VERY few cases it can be fatal.
I had 2 out of 3 of the jabs so far. They are fine! Your arm just aches for a few days after, don’t worry
